The Multimedia Studies training series is a full length course specifically designed to take the student through a number of projects that will expose them to various techniques and production pipelines with an emphasis on (but not limited to) desktop publishing and digital animation techniques. Each section will introduce students to new concepts that will challenge their creativity and will expand their understanding of the steps necessary to complete a project.
Each successive section has a higher level of difficulty which continuously builds upon the previously covered tools and key concepts. Upon successful completion of the entire training course the student will attain working knowledge of the software used as well the ability to apply the techniques learned to a studio production pipeline.
The student will gain a firm understanding on how to produce a digital animation as well as the fundamentals of website design.
Students will complete the entire program with the knowledge of how to put together a professional portfolio.
What's unique about our course is that 24-months of access to our instructors is available for technical support. In addition, each assignment that is submitted by the student will be followed up with a video critique from their instructor. Our instructors will work with the student on each assignment to ensure that all key concepts are completed according to industry standards before moving on to the next assignment. Our entire Multimedia/3D course is designed for student to complete within 24 months. However, because everyone has different schedules, our work at your own pace system allows the students the correct time frame at which they need to work at. Each project has an approximate time frame at which students are expected to complete them at. This course is broken down into 5 Sections:
Section 1 Fundamentals
Section 2 Digital Animation
Section 3 Graphic Design
Section 4 Wesite Development
Section 5 Protfolio
Each Section consists of different topics. Each topic reflects the current phase of production the student is in. Following each Section, students will be required to complete an assignment before carrying on to the next Section.
Students will be evaluated based on portfolio. Our Instructors will work with the student on the current assignment until it meets their personal standards.
We are confident that in a portfolio based industry this is the best evaluation method to give a student the chance to learn from their mistakes and grow as an artist.
