The 3D animation & Game Design training series is a full length course specifically designed to take the student through a number of projects that will expose them to various techniques and production pipelines with an emphasis on (but not limited to) modeling and texturing for games. Each section will introduce students to new concepts that will challenge their creativity and will expand their understanding of the steps necessary to complete a project.

Each successive project has a higher level of difficulty which continuously builds upon the previously covered tools and key concepts. Upon successful completion of the entire training course the student will attain working knowledge of the software used as well the ability to apply the techniques learned to a studio production pipeline.

What's unique about our course is that 24-months of access to our instructors is available for technical support. In addition, each assignment that is submitted by the student will be followed up with a video critique from their instructor. Our instructors will work with the student on each assignment to ensure that all key concepts are completed according to industry standards before moving on to the next assignment. We Pride ourselves on offering a personal learning experience for every student who enrolls, with one-on-one feedback our courses truly are the closest to classroom training that can be offered in an online format.

Our entire Multimedia/3D course is designed for student to complete within 24 months. However, because everyone has different schedules, our work at your own pace system allows the students the correct time frame at which they need to work at. Each project has an approximate time frame at which students are expected to complete them at. These time frames and more info can be viewed on our Product Page by following the link at the bottom of this page.

This course is broken down into 5 Projects:

Project 1 Train Station
Project 2 Dinosaur
Project 3 Stylized Vehicle
Project 4 Low Poly Game environment
Project 5 Focused Portfolio Project

Each Project is divided into Sections. Each Section reflects the current phase of production the student is in. Each Project also includes step-by-step assignments led by the instructor.(More detailed information on each Project and Section of this course is available on the "Products Page", just follow the link at the bottom of this page.)

Following each project, students will be assigned a personal portfolio project to complete before carrying on to the next project.

After the student has finished a Project, he or she is ready to create their own unique creation. This time the student chooses the subject matter based on the skills and techniques used in the preceeding Project. The instructor will guide them through it every step of the way. The end result again will be an image, but this time unique to that student for use in their portfolio.

Portfolio is the focus of this course. By creating a unique image, the student has original artwork to put in their portfolio. This is key when starting to build a portfolio that you will ultimately use when looking for employment.

Not only has the student gained this artwork but also the added knowledge and guidance from the instructor. Its like the student has worked through two projects with a professional and only paid for one.

Students will be evaluated based on portfolio. Our Instructors will work with the student on the current assignment until it meets their personal standards.

We are confident that in a portfolio based industry this is the best evaluation method to give a student the chance to learn from their mistakes and grow as an artist.
